Well indeed, where to begin? To make the long short, the viscous smooth, the intolerable palatable, and so on and so forth, I suppose I'd characterize myself as someone who is first and foremost a most undedicated LiveJournal keeper. The main purpose of this journal is to stay connected to scattered about friends and to keep myself thinking about writing, if nothing else. As a poet/writer who is obsessed with language, I find myself more oft than not in the not-so-original quandary of finding the time to write. This depresses me more than cat hair in my coffee, maple syrup on eggs, and frozen door-handles. But now for some facts. I graduated last December with a BA in English with minors in Writing and History. Currently I work at a local college as a writing assistant, and sweat-palmed await the response of 8 schools where I've applied for a MFA in Creative Writing.

Ah! To amend the above: I have been accepted (thus far) into 3 of my 8 schools, two exceptionally good offers, so now it's a sweat-palmed matter of deciding where...
